Violinist Monika Urbonaitė and pianist Dr. Eglė Kižytė-Ramonienė invite you once again to a concert where music is performed in complete darkness. This is a unique experience, because in the dark, visual distractions disappear, sounds become clearer, and the imagination paints its own landscapes. It is an opportunity to experience music differently, to be alone with it.
The first such concert took place in June – listeners were guided into a completely darkened hall with blindfolds, so the unusual experience began even before the music started! After the concert, listeners shared their positive impressions:
"I understood how music should really be listened to."
"I dreamed of music."
"For the first time, I was alone with the music."
The program features masterpieces of Baroque, Classical, and Romantic music by G. F. Telemann, G. F. Handel, F. Kreisler, C. Debussy, E. Elgar, and C. Frank.
After the concert, the lights will gradually come back on, and you will have the opportunity to chat with the performers and other guests and share your experiences!
