The public institution Muzikos magija (Magic of Music) aims to create opportunities for people to discover and enjoy more meaningful non-commercial improvisational, serious jazz, classical, and world music.
The Magic of Music Club is a branch of the public institution Magic of Music created for the purpose of organizing concerts and educational events. Only professional musicians who are able to move and reveal the emotional and intellectual content of serious music to the audience through their performances play at the club.
The educational evenings, which we call "Closer to Music," are led by musicologists or music lovers who, through engaging presentations and selected unique recordings or live music performances, introduce visitors to previously unheard or unjustly forgotten music from different countries and genres.
Over two seasons (fall 2023 – spring 2025), the Music Magic Club has hosted 180 events (past events), and we plan to maintain a similar pace this year and in the future (repertoire).
