Agota Zdanavičiūtė, a singer and kanklės (Lithuanian zither) player already familiar to the club’s guests, will be performing a solo concert at the club!
Agota has released two solo albums. The first, inspired by the fairy tales of herbalist Eugenija Šimkūnaitė, transports listeners to a world of forests and woods—“Kur giria užėjo.” The second, based on the poems of poet Vladas Braziūnas, is titled “Gyva čia.” The artist also composes songs based on the poetry of Stasė Lygutaitė-Bucevičienė, and occasionally embarks on creative experiments—exploring the possibilities of the kanklės, the resonance of words, and crafting her own poetic texts.
The program “I Spoke to the Moon” weaves together the sounds of the forest, poetry transformed into music, and bolder creative explorations. The concert will feature pieces from Agota’s entire repertoire!
