At first they were Vladas and "Sen Svaja" - a whole group of cool girls, and in the long run only Vladas and Agota remained. But they don't stop, they don't stagnate, they gain momentum, they create and continue with their joint works, with their programmes - even if they have different names.
Agota Zdanavičiūtė is a professional musician: a composer, vocalist, instrumentalist (primarily she is a "kanklės" musician) and teacher. Vladas Braziūnas is a versatile writer, poet, who understands and respects the musical nature of poems. Agota beautifully translates this nature - as a composer and a performer - to the people in the land by the Baltic Sea, and sometimes also by other wider waters. When we meet this duo, they will already be the authors of the collaborative album "Gyva čia".
The event will feature poems by the poet Vladas Braziūnas and "kanklės" music by Agota Zdanavičiūtė, inspired by the poet's poems. In this musical-poetic afternoon, music will be replaced by poetry and poetry - by music.
On Sunday afternoons, at 16:00, in a cosy chamber hall, poetry is read by some of Lithuania's most renowned readers, actors and the poets themselves, with live music accompanying the readings, which are characterised by a variety of interpretations.In addition to poetry readings, we also enjoy sung poetry events.
