“Deux minutes infinies” is a trio of musicians from Lithuania and Switzerland, consisting of Agota Zdanavičiūtė, Guillaume Diamrek and Vlatios. Their joint musical journey began with a spontaneous concert in the Swiss city of Liestal, where the musicians met for the first time and improvised together on stage. The audience’s reaction was so warm that it inspired them to continue their collaboration – soon the idea of recording an album was born.
In 2025, Agota left for Switzerland, and in just a week the trio created and recorded a full program. The creative process was intense, but accompanied by a warm mutual connection and playful rituals: before each break, the musicians would say "deux minutes" - two minutes - which always turned into longer and more idea-filled pauses. From this cozy code, the name of the group “Deux minutes infinies” – “two endless minutes” was born.
The music created by the trio is a gentle flow of world music, in which Lithuanian kanklės, African kora, percussion and folk melodies intertwine. Sensitive interpretations of Lithuanian folk songs, supplemented with reflections of Swiss timbres, dominate. The sounds are light, hypnotic, inviting the listener to immerse themselves in imaginative landscapes - mountains, forests, quiet rivers and longing for respite.
