In this meeting we will mainly listen to Richard Wagner's "Tannhäuser". But we will also talk about the composer's early years, the musical life and challenges of the time, and try to find out why Wagner returned to this piece so often.

They talk about the particularities of this music and demonstrate the music live and/or from records which have been pre-selected by the speaker.
