Club guests will have the opportunity to be the first to hear Mindaugas Stumbras international quartet's album "The Spinner of Yarns." The recording was made last year after concerts of the quartet's new original program at the Magic of Music Club and the Birštonas Jazz Festival.
This international collective consists of four ambitious and distinctive performers: the phenomenal percussionist from Argentina, Minino Garay; the violinist and exceptional jazz composer from Denmark, Line Kruse; one of the most active and promising representatives of the younger generation of the Lithuanian jazz scene, guitarist Mindaugas Stumbras; and double bassist, multi-instrumentalist, contemporary and experimental music creator and performer Gediminas Stepanavičius.
This high-quality vinyl record features a program inspired by the colors of jazz, the rhythms of South America and Africa, the intonations of the Middle East, and the folklore of different nations around the world.
