We invite you to immerse yourself in the melodious and rich sounds of Indian classical music.
This ancient music, steeped in tradition, is like a bridge to a world where time dissolves and centuries of archaic musical language meet improvisation in the moment.
Each Raga, a composition of Indian classical music, has a distinct and unique emotional colour, which develops from complete stillness and the first note into a colourful play of melodies and rhythms.
Raga is like a living musical canvas that the musicians weave, inviting the listener to immerse in a sea of emotions, away from the unstoppable rush of everyday life, into a moment of eternity and beauty.
In the first part of the concert, you will hear the lyrical, melodious subtleties of this music, as it is expressed in a duet between the Bansuri flute and tabla. In the second part, you will hear a vibrant performance of sitar and tabla. Throughout the concert instruments will be accompanied by the tanpura, a stringed instrument symbolising eternity, which supports the main note.
This concert can be an unforgettable journey of discovery and pleasure. You will experience the play of melody, rhythm and silence, unfolding in the spontaneous improvisation that is the foundation of Indian classical music.
