Kazimieras Jušinskas is one of the most creative saxophonists of the younger generation. He first became interested in jazz music at the Vilnius Conservatory and continued his studies at the Jazz Department of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. The performer actively performs at Lithuanian jazz festivals with the groups “Brave Noises” and “Džiazlaif” (with both of which he has won the VJYP “Grand Prix”), collaborates with DJ Extended, and plays in the “Improdimensijos” orchestra. He is also a member of the groups “The Septet,” “Castor Stetson,” and the saxophone quartet “Katarsis4,” participates in various interdisciplinary projects, and engages in teaching practice.
Filippos Raskovic is a composer and improviser from Greece. He has performed at the 2021 “Monopiano” festival at “Fylkingen” in Sweden, “State51 Studios” in London, “Flatterschafft” in Basel, “Flatterschafft: THE END” at the “DefDefDefinitive” club, “Studium P” in Vilnius, “Chimeres” in Athens, and other venues. He is also the founder of the “illucid trio” alongside Kazimieras Jušinskas and Gediminas Stepanavičius. The trio explores the boundaries of free improvisation, jazz, and composition, resulting in extended improvisations.
Gediminas Stepanavičius is a multi-instrumentalist, artist, and educator who lives, creates, and actively performs in Lithuania. His personal work is rooted in contemporary music, improvisation, and spectralism, which reveals the abstract qualities of sound and explores the relationship between soundscapes and the listener. He has performed at festivals such as London EFG Jazz, Amsterdam Jazz Fest, UNM Finland, Contemporary Music Festival Ultima, Vilnius Jazz, Vilnius Mama Jazz, Jauna Muzika, Raseiniai Contemporary Music Festival, Envelope, Saulės Muzika, Keep Singing, Yaga Gathering, Space is the Place, Birštonas Jazz, Kaunas Jazz, and others.
