  • ANDRIUS BALACHOVIČIUS is well known to accordion music lovers. As the leader of the accordion quintet Modus, he performs throughout Europe and regularly appears in such prestigious venues as the Lithuanian National Philharmonic and Vilnius Town Hall, Fr. Schubert Conservatory in Vienna. Andrius collaborates with various ensembles, including Kasp Bigband, Media Luna and Vilniaus klezmeriai.

    VYTAUTAS LABUTIS is a versatile musician: an improviser, performer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, as well as a band leader. He has been a member of such influential ensembles as the P. Vyšniauskas Quartet, the V. Čekasinas Quartet and the V. Tarasov Lithuanian Art Orchestra. He has collaborated with many Lithuanian and foreign musicians, V. Tarasov's Lithuanian Art Orchestra, Lithuanian Young Composers Orchestra, Vilnius Jazz Quartet, D. Pulauskas Sextet, L. Shinkarenko's Jazz 4, Kaunas Big Band, and for 10 years in a row he has been a member of prestigious Jazz Baltica Ensemble. He has performed at prestigious jazz festivals, participated in such projects as Jazz Baltica Ensemble and Orkestretto. He is the winner of the Grand Prix of the Birštonas 96 festival and the winner of the Blues Marathon 2002 in Kaunas.
