Augustinas Eidukonis, a pianist living in France, presents a new program in which works from different eras come together at the intersection of two musical origins—song and dance.
The first part of the concert will highlight the lyrical quality of the music: from Beethoven’s Sonata (Op. 109) to Rachmaninoff’s preludes. The second part will be devoted to dance-inspired music: from Haydn’s sonata to Chopin’s works, where the rhythms of folk dances transform into poetry, nostalgia, and virtuosic brilliance.
