The darkening evenings, the first frost and the streets washed by rain naturally invite us to stop, think, remember those who are no longer there, and focus on what is most important. During this sensitive period, it is especially important not to close ourselves off, but to share – to be together.
“16 Melodies for the Soul” is a musical project full of peace, spiritual respite and bright silence. The concert will take place as a continuous, uninterrupted event, in which Ave Maria hymns of various eras and styles will be performed – from the chorale to works by W. A. Mozart, F. Schubert, G. Donizetti, C. Gounod, G. Verdi, P. Mascagni, M. Lorenc, R. Cocciante and other composers.
The program will be performed by soprano Eglė Stundžiūtė-Bešėnienė, bass Genadijus Bergorulko and pianist Vaida Maulevičė.
