On the afternoon of December 21, we invite you to spend time at the Music Magic Club with wonderful sacred music composed before the 15th and after the 20th centuries.
In the first part of the listening session, we will listen to music from the Middle Ages that is not often heard—by Mesrop Mashtots, Movses Korenatsi, Gregory Narekatsi, Hildegard von Bingen, and Guillaume de Machaut.
The second part is dedicated to contemporary sacred music composed in the 21st century – we will listen to the works of Osvalds Golijov, Kurt Sander, Ēriks Ešenvalds, and Kim André Arnesen.
