The project will bring together three very different and distinctly strong musical personalities - a young jazz vocalist, Greta Ratovič, pianist, professor Artūras Anusauskas, and the famous saxophonist Vytautas Labutis. Their musical experiences - from different generations, different styles and schools - will merge into an improvisational mix, where we will hear both mature craftsmanship and fresh, searching energy.
Greta Ratovič, after many years of experience with the a cappella group Jazz Island and performances with various orchestras, is embarking on her own creative path as a solo jazz vocalist. Alongside her voice, she masterfully imitates the sound of various instruments, from trumpets to saxophones.
Artūras Anusauskas and Vytautas Labutis are long-standing masters of the Lithuanian jazz scene, composers and performers whose experience, musical depth and stage sensitivity will give the trio a solid foundation. Each of them will bring a distinctive sound, but at the same time they will also give space to Greta's voice - a new, exciting and growing force.
